Translational Genetics and Genomics (Transl Genet Genom) is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal committed to publishing high quality research in the fields of genetics and genomics with rapid time to publication. The mission of Transl Genet Genom is to provide a platform for basic and clinical researchers and scholars in the fields of genetics and genomics to update the latest progress and promote the development of these fields. We envision Transl Genet Genom can become one of the influential journals in genetics and genomics.
Transl Genet Genom focuses on worldwide research and translation in genetics and genomics. The topics covered in Transl Genet Genom include basic and clinic sciences of medical/clinical genetics, human genetics, molecular genetics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, genomics, gene therapy, biomarker research, biochip, genetic variants, inherited disorders, chromosomal aberrations, newborn screening, fetal pathology, prenatal diagnosis, pharmacogenomics, metabolomics, pharmacology, gene and RNA sequencing. Coverage also extends to related basic and clinical studies including biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacogenomics, molecular biology, pharmacology, and oncology. By publishing these studies through the open access platform, Transl Genet Genom intends to enable rapid translation of research findings into the clinic. We welcome all types of manuscripts, such as original research articles, review articles, case reports, brief communications, clinical studies, editorials, and letters to the editor.
To ensure publication of high quality articles with scientific impact, we have developed a strong team of Editorial Board Members. Senior members with a track record of outstanding contributions to the field will be appointed as Associate Editors. They will ensure high quality, rigorous and impartial peer review of submitted manuscripts. Some board members are from renowned institutes and are top experts in the field. We also have Review Editors who participate in the stringent peer review process. Language Editors and Statistic Editors will be invited, as needed, to assist with evaluation of language and statistic issues.
Though new to the field, we have a passion for making Transl Genet Genom a rapid and free platform for updating the scientific community on exciting developments in genetics and genomics. We take an open access approach so readers in any corner of the world can freely access and read the full manuscript without subscription. Thus, we are certain that a ever growing number of researchers and scholars will be attracted to Transl Genet Genom and submit their work.
